Beautiful Iowa day - riding the river, quite a bit on a nice path built on top of the river levee. Rode through the Quad Cities - Davenport has a beautiful riverfront park system. Lunch in Muscatine, a pretty deserted old downtown. Staying at the Roy El motel in Wapello - a somewhat deserted town of 2000 on the Iowa river.
